O’s Notes: Pianist Richard Drexler pairs up with saxophonist Jeff Rupert for“Imagination, a collection of modern jazz classics. It’s the perfect dinner set with tunes that you know presented for both background and intimate listening as desired. The duo has performed regularly at the Bösendorfer Lounge in Orlando Florida for well over ten years but this set was recorded at the Timucua Arts White House, June 2015 (also in Orlando). Highlights are “I Can’t Help It”, “A Felicidade” and “Soul Eyes”.
