O’s Notes: We reviewed the Orbit debut in 2019. The band remains a trio with two French men: pianist Stéphan Oliva and bassist Sébastien Boisseau, with American drummer Tom Rainey. The theme is outer space with titles like “Kinetic Motion”, “Saturn Diamonds”, “A Comet At Bronx” and fittingly, “Orbit”. While still highly improvisational the music is more thought provoking and focused today. We found In-visibility to be spirited, yet relaxing.
