O’s Notes: After looking at the cover photos from her last few releases we’ve concluded that Lyn likes hats! Her golden locks look good with or without the lid and her voice is memorable in all cases. Stanley continues her journey through the American song books backed by two different bands; a large ensemble with pianist Bill Cuneliffe and a quartet with pianist Mike Garson. Bassist Chuck Berghofer and guitarist John Chiodini are common in both configurations. Warm inviting vocals, fine instrumentation and solid arrangements make this excellent material for a dinner party.
