O’s Notes: Elia Lucas is an actress, a model and here on Introspecció, she’s a pianist and composer. Her quartet features bassist Tomás Pujol, saxophonist Edu Pons, and drummer Kike Perez. This is their debut recording with elements of British pop, classical, soul and jazz. There are seven selections and we embraced “Cercles”, Lucas’s beautiful piano on “Natural”, and Pons’ warm sax on “Dreamin’” & “Germans”.
