O’s Notes: Sakésho is a new group featuring Michel Alibo on bass, Mario Canonge on keyboards, drummer Jean Philippe Fanfant and steel drum master Andy Narell. They play jovial Latin music with Canonge and Narell trading leads. They get funky on “Mabouya”, wing on “Laventille” and sooth on “Karawak Dream”. The union is solid, a winning formula – we hope to see more from them!
