O’s Notes: Susie’s soft vocals float on top of bouncy, Dixie rhythms to make this a fun and cuddling country session. Two guitars and a bass carry the mood with Arioli weaving in between to deliver the lyrics. The program features fourteen jazzy blues standards arranged for Susie’s strengths. We favored the strong blues feel of “The Big Hurt”, “Trying to Get to You” and “No Smoke Blues”.
