O’s Notes: Hans (sax) returns with his original sextet adding more Latin flavors to 7 classic jazz cuts and a few originals. The blending of guitar and sax on the melodies and meter changes on “No Moe” and the reggae feel of “Take 5” are two examples of new arrangements. On “My Sweet Louise” Hans adds a bossa nova feel to a relaxing vibe. His “Amnesia” is a cool fusion with swinging melodies. This is a winning combination!
