O’s Notes: Chet plays left coast cool jazz on this set. The CD is a compilation featuring performances from 1974 and 1975 including a live recording of “Line For Lyons”, a hot number. The rest of the program is primarily mellow ballads like “Concierto De Aranjuez” and “My Funny Valentine” each showing Chet’s ability to romance his audience and that he does well.
