O’s Notes: This is the fourth solo piano recording from Tyner and it is as good as the first three. The theme here is great pianists: Evans, Powell, Tatum, Jarrett and Corea. These are intrerpretations, not copies and Tyner illustrates the beauty of 20th century jazz piano on a well-recorded and enjoyable set.
