O’s Notes: Jeremiah is a follow-up to Liverevil with most of the same line-up. Jon Irabagon (ss), Bryan Murray (ts, bs), Moppa Elliott (b), Dan Monaghan (d) join leader, guitarist/composer Jon Lundbom to form the band. They continue to stretch the boudaries with explosive free jazz. Guest artists Justin Wood (as, fl) and Sam Kulik (tb) add to the mix. “Wiccan Prayer Song Medley” has a series of parrellel melodies that begs repeated listening to appreciate each path. “Frog Eye” and “First Harvest” are among the more orderly selections in an aggressive but not chaotic session.
