O’s Notes: RK Dawkins has been the master engineer, producer and mixer behind countless projects over the last two decades. Journey puts him in the leadership role. He draws heavily on the 1970s old school groove, soft pop/R&B with lot of electronic instrumentation. “Discovery “ has that chill feeling that relaxes the spirit before “The Wake” and “Cruise” get our juices flowing. This could find a good spot with baby boomers.
