O’s Notes: Chicago-based, young vocalist Julia Danielle launches her self-titled debut including eight romantic selections. She’s got a soft, powerful voice that is paired with strong instrumentation centered around a rhythm section with Joshua Achiron (g), Clark Sommers (b), and Dana Hall (d). Danielle sings with passion, from the heart. There is warm harmonizing on the a cappella take of “I Want To Talk About You” and a rich complimentary string quartet on “Beautiful Moons Ago”. We also enjoyed “Lawns” featuring saxophonist Chris Madsen, and “There Will Never Be Another You”. Julia is off to a promising start.
