O’s Notes: Just Call It Love is a self-produced collection of jazzy, pop ballads from Dutch vocalist Dennis van Aarssen with pianist Jeff Franzel. Dennis won the 9th Edition of The Voice of Holland in 2019 and this is his fourth recording, the first without a big band. Van Aarssen’s voice is warm, resounding, and inviting on top of several configurations with Franzel combining with bass, violin, and guitar. The duo is impressive, and we suspect they’ll warm many hearts for a while.
