O’s Notes: There is a sense of mystery and suspense in the air on this collection of pop/rock-fusion. David plays guitar with a core band including Steve Jenkins (b), Scott Warner (d), Daniel Sadonick (perc) and Jim Funnell (keyboards). They use unusual sound effects like running water on “Habibi Bounce”, one of our favorite tracks along with “Ej Balaam” and “Shiraz”. This is definitely an unusual palate but overall it is a very good effort.
