O’s Notes: Isiah Stance (vibes, keyboards, perc), Dwayne Stance (b, g) and Byron Breaks (d, perc) are the core band members in this funky mix of thirteen jams. The beats are what make the music here! “Dynamite” has a strong dose of James Brown rhythms with Isiah working the vibes. “Roll Call” features Chauncey McBride listing a wealth of drummers who paved the way. They chill on “Jay’s Lament” balancing the mix. Teddy Rick wrote all of the music except George Duke’s “Capricorn”. “Upside The Head” is one of many tunes that will get your head bobbing to the beat.
