O’s Notes: UK composer, arranger and vocalist Clare Foster presents her eighth album Kumbhaka, the space between each breath, a collection of 15 freshly arranged jazz classics and originals. They are done with refreshing light bossa nova beats and Clare’s warm vocals. There are hints of Spain on “Gone With The Wind” and a fresh calypso arrangement on “I Only Have Eyes For You”. Foster does a fine job putting her heart into each selection to the delight of listeners.
