O’s Notes: Eljuri is a popular Latin guitarist and vocalist who just released her third solo album La Lucha. Born in Ecuador and now living in New York, Eljuri is full of energy. Alex Alexander plays drums with Johnny Pisano and“Tracy Wormworth splitting duty on bass. The music has club beats and pop rhythms all with a gentle Latin spirit, a sort of Nuevo World Fusion. Eljuri sings in both English and Spanish broadening her audience with music that is suitable for dancing and listening.
