O’s Notes: Latin Crossroads is a collection of mixed vocals baked by an orchestra with mild Latin undertones. This is the brainchild of pianist, arranger, orchestrator and co-producer Gino Amato. We liked “Shower The People”, “Green Flower Street”, “Blackbird”, “Bad Things”, “On The Street Where You Live”, and a cool instrumental arrangement of “Round Midnight”. Janis Siegel (vocals), Kevin Osborn (vocals), co-producer Oscar Hernandez (p), Ruben Rodriguez (b), Vince Cherico (d), Lew Soloff (t), and Pablo Nunez (perc) are a small sample of the extensive roster of musicians. The mix of vocalists and instrumentation make this an enjoyable session start to finish!
