O’s Notes: Graham plays trombone, not as a part of a brass section but as the lead instrument in a quartet. His tone is rich and his notes are distinct. Joining Rhodes are Chris Elson (p), Adam Fine (b) and Bob Gaudreau (d), all talented musicians. “Afro Blue”, an upbeat jazzy classic, and “The Wee Small Hours of the Morning” are excellent examples of Graham at his best.
