O’s Notes: The beauty of this album is in its simplicity. Renée sings and René strums his guitars or plays piano. They are both formidable talents that don’t get in each other’s way. The program includes eleven popular standards along with “Lover’s Lullaby”, a Yoxon original. The combination works very well led by Yoxon’s soft but powerfully inviting vocals and Gely’s fine accompaniment. This is a clear winner!
