O’s Notes: The rich tenor sax and throaty bass clarinet resonate under David’s command and to our pleasure. The music swings starting with the title track, a lengthy and engaging piece with subtle Latin flavors. The mood shifts, moving from the romantic “Dedication”, to neo-bop, then a touch of free jazz before winding up with the appropriately titled “Let’s Cool One”, our favorite track.
