O’s Notes: Afel Bochum is a singer and guitarist from Mali. Lindé is named after a wild reserve near Niafunké, Bocoum’s hometown. We didn’t understand the lyrics but we certainly understood the groove of these traditional tunes. It’s a peaceful vibe that resonated with us and helped us relax. We particularly liked “Dakamana”, “Avion”, “Djougal” and ”Sambu Kamba”. The full album will be released Sept 4, 2020.
