This was originally released in 1984, her debut and is celebrated on this reissue. Saxophonist Arnett Cobb, bassist Buster Williams and drummer Ben Riley round out the band for this intimate and polished set. The collection includes straight up blues like “Black Coffee”, and fun-loving tunes like “It Could Happen To You”. Williams opens the door for Vitro to soar on “Easy Street” setting the foundation for many great moments over the years.
