O’s Notes: Stephanie delivers a solo piano experience that is based on her most influential musicians. The session was recorded live at The Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis May 2010. She displays a great deal of dexterity on “Mule Walk”, her lone original, “Blues For Alfie”, and “Everything Happens To Me”. Most of the pieces have a ragtime/stride based highlighting the work of Johnson, Greig, Waller and Handy. They sound glorious on the grand piano with Trick enjoying herself every step of the way and luring the audience into her mood as well.
