O’s Notes: The headliners are vocalist Michelle Lordi and bassist Matthew Parrish. They get support from guitarist Randy Napoleon and pianist Xavier Davis for their latest album recorded Live at Dirty Dog Café in Detroit. Lordi and Parrish display rich tones during this intimate set, especially on “I Will Wait For You”, “Close Your Eyes”, and with the Brazilian twist of “No More Blues”. There are six selections and they all shine, giving us a thirst for the next chapter.
