O’s Notes: Bassist Dan Loomis, drummer Jared Schonig and vibraphonist James Westfall are The Wee Trio. They don’t take themselves to seriously as evidenced by the comic CD cover. They pride themselves on making each live performance unique, capturing the mood of the moment, the crowd and the ambiance. The Bistro in St. Louis is one of their favorite spots and the place of this, their first live recording, a winner! These guys are confident, polished and energetic. There is nothing ‘wee’ about their sound!
