O’s Notes: Shrunken Head Shop is an Acid-Fusion band centered on spontaneous creation. The core of the team is Willie Oteri (g), Jan Fitschen (b), Sylvia Oelkrug (violin) and Schroeder (d). They crack the barrier to outer space with “Legends of Litfass” combining strange electronic sounds with a funky underpinning. Things continue in that fashion as the quartet and guests stretch the envelope on this live set of slow, simmering provocations. Five tunes with an abundance of creativity and a sense of daring give this eclectic set strong polar appeal.
