O’s Notes: Solo piano can take many shapes but under the hands of Michel Camilo it is always an entertaining encounter! Such is the case for his latest release“Live In London. Camilo’s dexterity with both hands makes this much more than a typical solo experience. “A Place In Time”, “Manteca” and “The Frim Fram Sauce” are great examples. Michel has done solo recordings before but this is the first live, solo performance released and it is a gem!
