O’s Notes: Guitarist Skip McDonald (born Bernard Alexander) performs under the stage name Little Axe. He’s been in the business for decades and creates some insatiable grooves! We enjoyed the funky beat and lyrics of the title track and the party groove on “House Of Bones” both of which had our heads bobbing. The bulk of the music is mild blues tracks. “Great Heroes” had an interesting perspective from an African American but most other lyrics were less insightful.“London Blues“is a good effort.
