O’s Notes: Los Angeles based pianist, vocalist, educator and mother Aimee Nolte puts together several ensembles for her latest endeavor“Looking For The Answers. We liked the joyful piano notes and playful spirit on the title track including fine work by Mike Scott on guitar. There’s a stirring cover of ‘Bye Bye Blackbird ‘ with Aimee singing and scatting. We also dug the Latin vibe on ‘Falling Snow‘ and ‘We Gotta Get.‘ Amy crosses several genres on this outing and pleases her audience including us in each segment.
