O’s Notes: If you want to enjoy some warm guitar playing, dial up Russell Malone, a polished veteran who never disappoints audiences. Pianist Rick Germanson, bassist Gerald Cannon and drummer Willie Jones III round out the quartet. Malone makes fleeting passages seem effortless but focuses most of this set playing soothing ballads like “Ellie’s Love Theme”, one of many romances on this set. Love Looks Good On You is yet another winning effort!
