O’s Notes: Ed Roth plays a wide range of keyboards both acoustic and electric but prides himself on recording without dubs or sequencing. All of his instruments are real and integrated for a true, funky, smooth jazz groove. There is a lot to enjoy including “Riff Raff”, a relaxing “Continental Prince” and the racy title track. Guest saxophonist Tom Scott is featured on the latter two. Roth’s command over the keys makes this one sizzle in a way that will delight old school and new contemporary jazz fans.
