O’s Notes: Smooth saxophonist Jaime Mancera leads a sextet performing thirteen original selections. He shines on the ballads like “You Are Always There” and danceable tunes like “Sunset Silhouettes” and “Mediterranean Flavor”. There are some festive tunes, some Latin and lots of easy-going upbeat tracks. Unfortunately the sound quality is rather thin, especially on the soprano sax, Mancera’s featured instrument.
