O’s Notes: Yet another rendition of Piano Jazz with one of Marian’s early piano influences, Teddy Wilson, a swing player. Teddy has incredible technique and capability on the keyboards especially his left hand dexterity. It comes through in his playing, he’s a stride player who excelled in most of the traditional formats and remains very capable even today. The intermingled interviews bring even more color to a strong set.
