O’s Notes: Scott revives the C-Melody sax, an instrument that was popular in the 1920’s for this CD. He is at home on many jazz styles ranging for ballads with strings to New Orleans blues. His sound is rich, especially on some of the blended melodies with guitar. A solid release.
