O’s Notes: The fresh air of bossa nova breezes blows on the opener, as one would expect in a tribute to the legendary Antonio Carlos Jobim. This set stands out featuring Carmen’s vocals and her husband Chuck Loeb’s solid performance on guitar. Loeb’s met Cuestra while he played in Stan Getz’s band during a Performance in Spain during 1974. The music sparked their union and they celebrate with this album. Carmen contributes a few of her own songs to the mix and they fit in well on this relaxing set.
