O’s Notes: Mark is the latest vocalist to enter the doors of Linn Records, home of Carol Kidd, Claire Martin, Barb Jungr and Ian Shaw. Moraghan is partnered with Nicky Campbell, the songwriter and Paul Buck (p) the arranger. Together they produce what they coin as ‘new swing’! It is appreciably fresh with an old school big band swing style infused with contemporary melodies and lyrics. The results will appeal to both lovers of traditional jazz crooners and contemporary pop music fans. Mark should be around for a while!
