O’s Notes: Bassist and composer Mark Wade follows his successful debut“Event Horizon“with a less abstract approach. These songs were influenced by places and experiences in Mark’s life capturing emotion from fifteen relocations! Personnel for“Moving Day“are pianist Tim Harrison, drummer Scott Neumann and Wade. The two covers “Another Night In Tunisia” and “Autumn Leaves” are transformed with Wade’s arrangements keeping them fresh along with his seven originals. The latter are provocative tunes that evolve over repeated listening, music that has more depth than expected from a trio.
