O’s Notes: This the first digital release of Nina’s Back, Simone’s 1985 Verve album. The album celebrated Nina’s return after a hiatus from recording. She strides with the times singing R&B, jazz, and a few of her classics like “Porgy”, the upbeat “Touching And Caring”, and the disco laced “You Must Have Another Lover”. It’s more commercial than her past releases.
