O’s Notes: Object Of Unknown Function is all about banjos and guitars featuring Brandon Seabrook. The sounds are rather eccentric and the titles (“Melodic Incidents For An Irrational World” and “Perverted By Perseverance”, e.g.) give good clues to the thought process that is being juggled around in Seabrook’s head. This is the recorded compilation of his solo acts. He plays two banjos from the 1920s, a 1989 Fender Telecaster Thinline, a 1998 Jerry Jones Neptune 12-string guitar, and dubs with a 4-Track cassette recorder.
