O’s Notes: Master improvisation jazz artists Soprano saxophonist Jane Ira Bloom and percussionist Brian Shankar Adler form a creative team on Drums Like Dancing. Guest artist Ken Filiano adds bass on “Psalm”. The openness imparted by the duo lends towards an inviting session. We liked “Watertown” and the vocal improvisation on “Old Orchard” best in the set of 14 songs.
