O’s Notes: One combines the musical creativity of three continents with American bassist/guitarist Joe Morris, Brazilian saxophonist Ivo Perelman and Hungarian drummer Balazs Pandi. Each has gained notoriety in free jazz space. They collaborated unrehearsed in the studio for these first take adventures. They are wide open and play from the gut. It is all that lovers of the genre will relish and a perhaps bit taxing on others.
