O’s Notes: The heart of O’2L is Jane Mangini and Al Pitrelli. They perform all of the music with some additional vocalists and guest artists added to enhance the effect. The music is split between club beats, relaxed natural sounds and funky improvisation, all with an abundance of electronic instrumentation. The rhythms are simple but the melodies are more complex, more syncopated and creative. It’s yet another take on the contemporary jazz side.
