O’s Notes: Perception“is a collection of jazzy R&B grooves lead by bassist Mitchell Coleman, Jr. His primary collaborator is co-producer Michael B. Sutton (keyboards). They set the stage with “Funkatized” before chilling on “Interfuse” featuring Kim Richmond on sax. This is a modernized take on 1980s strong songs. Dionyza Sutton sings “Street Life” with all of the sparks of the Crusaders hit. Josh Sklair takes the lead on guitar for “Enchanted Summer” and Shorty Mack raps on “Brand New Day”. These head bobbing tracks make you want to move!
