O’s Notes: French jazz singer Cyrille Aimée teams up with drummer and artistic director Adonis Rose for Petite Fleur. There is a definitive French Cafe feel here with romantic lyrics in both French and English, and a delicate, gentle sway. We liked the bluesy swagger on “I Don’t Hurt Anymore”, “Down” and the most of the second half of the program! The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra is a fine complement to the headliners.
