O’s Notes: Eric teams up with Joe Farnsworth (d), David Hazeltine (p) and John Webber (b) for a CD & DVD session recorded in Ashville, NC during April 2007. There is no mistaking Eric’s tenor sax as he guides through the changes on “Blues Like” and “One For Steve”. They swing on “Little Lucas” and groove on “We All Love Eddie Harris”. While the video was good we surprisingly enjoyed the CD more! We could feel the vibe.
