O’s Notes: Kaze is a free jazz quartet featuring the famous Japanese husband and wife team Satoko Fujii (p) and Natsuki Tamura (t) with Westerners Christian Pruvost (t) and drummer Peter Orins. They share interests and musical approach despite being from opposite sides of the Earth. Netsuke and Christian coax more unlikely sounds from their trumpets than you could ever imagine while Fujii and Orins compose a way-out landscape. It is wild!
