O’s Notes: Argentine bassist Fernando Huergo leads a warm large ensemble for Relentless. They open with the vibrant sounds on “Consciousness Of Reality”, a fine indication of what follows. Huergo takes charge opening “Ornette” with an energetic solo. There is a subtle Latin theme that is ever-present, and more pronounced on “Panorama”. We enjoyed the entire set that was appreciably listenable, including solos from many members!
