O’s Notes: Vittor’s fans have been anticipating this release for a decade. His last CD came out in1996. After listen to Renewed Impressions we too appreciate their passion. Aside form his mastery of the trombone (sweet warm tones) he has an incredible sense of swing. This is accentuated with the infusion of Philippe Baden Powell (p), Vitor Goncalves (p) and Rodrigo Villa (b). The music is soothing.
