O’s Notes: Telarc has placed Latin jazz pianist Michel Camilo into the world of Gershwin. This is an unusual take to be sure but not only does Camilo accept the challenge, he flourishes! Michel brings elements of romance and delicacy where required to compliment the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra. There are five tracks including Concerto in F. While we don’t normally review classical music, we certainly appreciated the dynamics and splendor of Rhapsody in Blue.
